Colleen is a lifelong native of the greater Philadelphia area and a proud Temple University alum. They have Bachelor's degrees in advertising and English with concentrations in copywriting and creative writing. The began their career at the Student Success Center in 2018, where they worked as a writing tutor, tutor trainer, office assistant, and ambassador until they graduated in 2021. 

After graduating, they worked as a professional copywriter for well-known brands from around the world, including companies like Chewy and SAP. They returned to the SSC in 2025, and they’re striving to nurture the same positive learning environment they adored as an undergraduate.

Colleen’s interests include anatomy, medicine, psychology, criminology, and ornithology. In their free time, they enjoy writing, drawing, playing video games, cooking, enthusing about their favorite TV shows to anyone who will listen, and hanging out with their cats.
