COLLOQUIA OFFERINGS
Job Materials Colloquium (for Doctoral students)
The Job Materials Colloquium is a virtual offering by the Student Success Center in collaboration with the Career Center, the Center for the Advancement of Teaching, and the Graduate School where you will learn about the parts of the Cover Letter, CV, Teaching, Diversity, and Research Statement. You'll learn alongside a virtual community of other doctoral candidates in 2-hour sessions. Each week, we will have guest speakers from the Temple University community who are experts in their respective fields. We will discuss a specific aspect of the job materials package, and then you will have a week to develop the document and upload it to Canvas. You will receive written and verbal peer-to-peer feedback on each piece you submit, ensuring you have the support you need to succeed.
